The Course
Underwear Pattern Making short course’s aim is to train professional figures specialized in the creation of all types of underwear garments. The course starts with the study of sizes and fitting, and then moves on to typical topics of the sector, such as bra modeling and the analysis of stretch fabrics, including Lycra. Once the pattern has been created, students study the placement on the fabric, up until the realization of various garments.
This being a short course, it will not be possible to cover all the subjects in depth: depending on the student’s experience, the teacher will design the most suitable program. If you are a beginner you will focus more on the basic topics, if you are already at a good level you can concentrate on more specific topics.
It will be possible to visit the classrooms, you will be able to view the projects of the former students, have a direct meeting with the director Fernando Burgo and the professors to request advice for an orientation on the program most suited to their attitudes and needs, it will also be possible to participate in one or more workshop of your choice.
