Istituto di Moda Burgo was founded in 1961 by the editor Fernando Burgo.
Thanks to his experience in this sector, he has grown a giant in the field of vocational education. He had the ability to make his practical experiences assume a personal teaching footprint in such a way as to provide advanced support, constantly checking the positive inclusion of young people graduates in the production system.
The Institute, 100% Made in Italy, enjoys an international reputation and once again this year it has established itself as a guarantee of quality and uniqueness.
Young talents who have always been fascinated by the fashion and design sector, graduating at Istituto di Moda Burgo, have the opportunity to receive hundreds of job offers, collaborations and internships from famous national and international brands that seek competent collaborators among the new graduates of the Institute.
The mission of the famous fashion school is to spread and preserve the typical Italian craftsmanship, transferring the skills and the secrets of the trade to young students from all over Italy and the world. For this reason, in September 2017 Istituto di Moda Burgo also opened a branch in Rome, the Italian Capital.

IMB Milan and Rome invites you once again to the OPEN DAYS in which the two branches will open their doors to the public.
Thursday 17th of May 2018, will be held the day open in MILAN, from 9 am to 4 pm, in Piazza San Babila, 5 and in Piazza Santa Francesca Romana, 3.
At Milan branch, you can visit the school, viewing the projects of former students and also you can have a direct meeting with the director Fernando Burgo and with the teachers to request advice for an orientation on the program best suited to their attitudes and necessity. Finally, moving to the pattern making and tailoring branch, you can touch the fabrics and browse through the laboratory tables.
Thursday 24th of May 2018, instead, will take place the open day in Rome from 10.30 am to 5.30 pm, in Lungotevere dei Mellini, 44.
At the headquarters in the capital it will also be possible to attend some workshops

•    11 a.m. – Draping workshop With Francesco Fino Duration: 60 min.
•    2 p.m. – Introduction to the Fashion Stylist course With Francesco Fino Duration: 30 min.
•    3 p.m. – Introduction to the Dressmaking course With Luisa Pasqualini Duration: 30 min.
•    4 p.m. – Introduction to the Fashion Design course With Francesco Fino Duration: 30 min.
•    5 p.m. – Draping workshop With Francesco Fino Duration: 30 min
