“It’s the traditional summer party of the Association, dedicated mainly to members. During this event a memorial plaque engraved with the name of the historic president of the Association, Dino Abbascià, is given to the most assiduous members» – explains Dr. Agostino Picicco, cultural director – «We also had the honor to have as guest Michele Emiliano, “Presidente della Regione Puglia”. He was already in Milan to preside over the work of ”Assemblea Continentale Pugliesi nel Mondo” that provides for the election of eight Council Members in Europe. He decided to stay one more day to participate to this event, together with 250 other members and friends.
This party has been during a very important period for us, given that last December we received the prestigious Ambrogino d’Oro as the Association of Merit».
“Ambrogino d’Oro” is an award given to citizens or bodies that, through their initiatives (human or professional), have contributed to enhance the prestige of the city of Milan. In 2014 was also awarded to Fernando Burgo, for its educational and training activities in the “Made in Italy” fashion industry.
