The long awaited school year-end fashion show is back again to celebrate the work and commitment of the students from IMB Milan and Italian and foreign IMB schools.
On Thursday, June 29, 2017, the Capsule Collection made up of women’s outfits, will be presented at The Beach Club in Milan.
This year, the theme of the Prêt-Couture S/S 2018 collections is a journey to discovering the blend between East and West, between the woman dressed in typically Oriental style dresses like a Geisha and the famous Hollywood stars in the 1930s. An innovative punk-key, street-style accents with eccentric volumes but at the same time linear in the cuts, all crossed by strictly crafted tailor-made details. The idea of movement is the guiding thread and inspirational motive. Organza clouds feature embroidery with applications. Transparencies reign supreme without ever being over the lines. Golden embroidery alternates with graphs in waves drawn by precious mini fringes. The chiffon caresses the body, adorned with deluxe applications for its mostly long final dresses, in a contrasting black with light shades.
The show is coordinated by a young and talented fashion designer who has worked in the prestigious ateliers of Dolce & Gabbana and Valentino, currently teacher of Hat Making – Millinery and Draping professional courses at IMB Milan.
The fashion show will end with the highly anticipated award ceremony of Lectra, the most important and widespread multinational in the fashion industry.
Each year, it rewards the best creations on the catwalk of Istituto di Moda Burgo with two free courses: Kaledo Style Design and Cad Cam pattern making.
